We invite you to come and enjoy the beautiful and scenic Guadalupe River in the heart of the Texas Hill Country. The Guadalupe River, from Canyon Dam to New Braunfels, has long been recognized as one of the most exciting float trips in the Southwest. Please Note: for safety and conservation reasons there are some laws which you must observe while on the Guadalupe River. No polystyrene foam or glass is permitted on or in the river for any reason. Alcohol is allowed on the Guadalupe River. There is also a leash law for dogs. Please pay attention to these laws they are solely for your benefit.

From Austin and Dallas: take IH-35 south, exit #189 and turn right onto loop 337. Travel for 4 miles to River Road. Turn right again. Riverbank is 4 1/2 miles ahead. From Houston: take IH-10 west. Take exit #607 to Highway 46. Turn right and drive 16 miles to River Road. Riverbank is 4 1/2 miles ahead. From San Antonio / Corpus Christi: take IH-35 north and exit at Loop 337 (exit #184). Turn left and drive 5.2 miles. Turn Left on River Road. Riverbank is 4 1/2 miles ahead.

A two mile trip, you would launch above the chute rapid and exit at Riverbank. A five mile trip, you would launch above the third crossing bridge and exit at Riverbank. A seven mile trip, you would launch at the Little Ponderosa bridge and exit at Riverbank. This trip includes the Devil’s Playground and Bad Rock rapids. This is a very scenic trip and is great for families. There are many places to stop and enjoy food and drink while floating. A six mile rafting trip, you would launch at Riverbank and exit at Gruene River Company. This trip includes Hueco Springs, Slumber Falls, Clutter, and Gruene rapids. There are no places to stop on this trip for food or drinks, so make sure you have all the supplies you need before launching. This is a rafting trip only, no children under 12 years or tubers.
Additional Information: No dogs allowed. No children under 6 years. No checks accepted. No private shuttles. Alcohol is allowed! Public intoxication laws still apply though, so don’t indulge too much. Laws that apply on the river include a prohibition of glass and polystyrene.
